Set against the backdrop of the majestic Langeberg mountain Range, the Garden Route Game Lodge is a malaria free game reserve guarding the entrance to South Africa’s world famous Garden Route Coast. The region boasts a mild climate with hot summers and cool winters and an average of 300 days of sunshine per year.

The Main Lodge rooms combine luxury and comfort with an Out of Africa theme. Complete with on suite bathrooms, the Lodge rooms lead onto a West facing balcony which offers breath-taking African sunsets all within steps of the sparkling pool.

Dining in the Serengeti’s Restaurant offers guests an interactive dining experience where safari cuisine is prepared by the chef to your liking. The friendly and attentive waiters are on hand to explain the menu or advise on a selection of fine South African wines.

 

Relax and enjoy refreshments at the Serengeti Bar or at the Bush Bar. The expansive wooden decks overlooking the valleys below allow guests to relax and unwind to the sounds of the African night.

Enjoy sunset and sunrise game drives in an open Landrover with an experienced game ranger who will bring you sightings of lion, elephant, hippo, white rhino, buffalo and cheetah. Garden Route Game Lodge is also home to giraffe, zebra and numerous antelope species such as bontebok, red hartebeest, kudu, eland, impala, springbuck and many more. Game drives will take between 2 and 3 hours depending on how much time is spent at each sighting. There will be a sundowner stop on the evening drive.

Set within the game reserve, the Ayana Spa at Garden Route Game Lodge provides an ideal opportunity to compliment the feeling of wellness ones gets from being in nature with a relaxing treatment. End the day’s game viewing with a soothing full body massage or pamper yourself with one of the indulgent treatments. Built from locally sourced stone and thatch the treatment room overlooks the game reserve and features its own private plunge pool.
